About Me
I’m Debbie, a hand-building potter based in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, with a passion for crafting one-of-a-kind, hand-built pottery items. Inspired by nature and everyday moments, my work is both practical and whimsical.
From charming Highland cows with personality to seasonally themed ceramics, each piece is a labour of love, sculpted and hand-painted to bring joy and character into your home.
The Story of Deb’s Pottery Shack
My journey with pottery began in 2022 with a class by Master Potter Jon French. Since then, I’ve transformed a small studio in my garden into my personal sanctuary, where creativity flourishes. Every item is meticulously crafted with high-quality Stoneware or Earthenware clay, finished with unique glazes that add life to each creation.
In 2025 I started to offer ceramics hand-building classes, initially making Highland cows, suitable for beginners and great fun to take part in. These are growing to include other fabulous creations in 2026.
